Life as a Book

I have long said that life is like a book (not chocolates). Each chapter containing stories with experiences and lessons we learn that continue to shape us. Some chapters are scary, like the time I was showing a vacant house to potential renters and a homeless man jumped out from underneath a bed.  Others are dramatic, like when my friend and I sprinted into a cornfield to escape the imminent breathalyzer test at our Homecoming dance.  A few are sad, like the agonizing weeks I spent alongside the Hospice House bed that held my mom as she slowly slipped away. All of us have our fair share of stories and for the most part, I’ve kept mine close to heart, only sharing with a chosen few. Lately, however, I’ve realized how important it can be to share and connect with others for support on the journey of life. We can help each other, grow, learn and just be better people. I’m interested in doing all I can to be better at all things in life. If that sounds like you too, let’s connect. Welcome to my latest chapter!palease
